Museum
November marked the opening of the new Sullivan
Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum in Waterloo. The Applied Art team brought
together its wide range of creative and technical talents
to deliver interactive, AV and video-based activities honoring
contributions of Iowa veterans from the Civil War through
Current Conflicts.

Energy
A new Flash-based interface now welcomes visitors
to the touchscreens on the MidAmerican
Energy kiosks.
These portable kiosks and permanent event center exhibits – produced
and managed by Applied Art – have been a successful
communication channel for more than 6 years!

Living History
Farms
This grain bin interactive kiosk delivers
farm history to audiences of all ages at the Wallace Crop
Center at Living History Farms. Applied Art developed
the museum computer interactive from historical resources
provided
by the Farms.

John Deere
AMS
John
Deere Ag Management Solutions teamed with
Applied Art to create computer-based simulators to demonstrate
its satellite-based precision ag management system. Visitors
can steer a tractor through a simulated field or activate the
automated guidance system for hands-free farming. Simulators
traveled to meetings, farm shows, and dealer training sessions.

Of Pride
Making baseball calls from stereoscopic video … experiencing
a hi-def multi-angle All-State Music Festival performance … exploring
the multitude of information Iowa high school students have
uploaded about their schools and communities … all
these premiere activities in Des Moines’ Iowa
Hall of Pride (and more) are the handiwork of the Applied Art
team.
