Check out our awesome new studio in the sky. Maybe it’s not part of the whole “tiny home” movement, but it’s a start right? With the consistent need for additional studio space at Applied Art, we’ve finally decided to make one of our long term dreams a reality. We built a treehouse! Oh, this isn’t a typical treehouse, it’s a 1500 sq. ft. “studio” in the sky. Fully equipped with bridges, ladders, green room, multiple TV screens, wifi, drop down developer bunks, a fully stocked bar, and a restroom. Recently, the Applied Art web team got to work with Mike McKeag and his team at ImageFirst Signs to give a fresh look and feel to their website. This Grinnell, Iowa-based company is a wholesale sign manufacturer that produces signage for companies across the country, ranging from colleges and corporations to NFL teams and Superbowls. Keep Iowa Beautiful (KIB) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated in engaging Iowans to take greater responsibility for improving their community environment and enhancing the beauty of their state through litter prevention, reduction and beautification programs. The Danish Immigrant Museum, located in Elk Horn, Iowa, shares the legacy and continuing influence of Danish culture as realized in the experiences and contributions of Danish immigrants, their descendents and Danes living in America.
