We just returned from sunny Phoenix, home of this year's Commodity Classic, America's largest farmer-led, farmer-focused convention & trade show. Throughout the weekend, we could be found with the Firestone exhibit. We set up a pop-up theater feature, an eye-catching video, and lighting design to showcase the latest AD2 tires.  We also provided A/V support from our plush headquarters inside the theater. 2013 is proving to be a year of milestones at Applied Art, and one of those milestones includes Karri Higgins' 25th consecutive Maytag Commercial Laundry Annual Meeting. Karri heads up Black Cat Productions, a one-woman powerhouse of event production and support services housed in Applied Art. New AVDimensions Animation in 4K Resolution!

Animation in 4K resolution, in pixels that's 3840 x 2160, or put 4 high resolution HDTVs together and there ya go. The project was to create an animated logo for AVD Dimensions and give it a puzzle theme to match their presentation needs. The animation presents AVD as the puzzle wrangler bringing together all the pieces of the puzzle to create the ultimate end product. CNET, a division of CBS Interactive (CBSi), wanted real-time data displayed in an eye-catching manner for their 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Ag Connect Expo

Applied Art just returned from Orlando, the location of the inaugural Ag Connect Expo. The Meyocks Group worked closely with Applied Art on the booth lighting, audio visual and interactive experience. Attendees included producers, agribusiness professionals and dealer personnel who could literally kick the tires of the innovative, Des Moines-based Firestone Ag Tires. The centerpiece of the exhibit was a new Firestone agricultural tire with AD2 technology.
